Take Action

NLCED is growing into a collaborative effort with Jefas - Latinas with years in the civic engagement space and leaders of organizations providing services to better our communities from across the country. Building on the momentum from 2020, this year Las Jefas will be joined by a network of Compañer@s helping us elevate our voices to touch all corners of the country where a Latina needs to hear our message - that our vote matters and encourage them to come out to the polls.

Additionally, this year NLCED is happening amidst at least six special elections to the United States House of Representatives and countless local elections where the Latina vote will play an important role, join us.

Latina Civic Hubs → Nominate a Latina Owned-Business to become a Civic Hub

  • The Latina Civic Hubs provide voter registration and civic engagement information easily accessible to the community. Our goal is to help Latinas maximize the power they have as business owners and amplify the need to invest in our local communities. We build relationships via the hubs to continue building trustworthy relationships and meet our community where they are.

  • The Latina Civic Hubs renew their commitment yearly and every year you can nominate a new business to join us. Are you ready to build the Latina electorate and long-term political power?
